The Urban Trees & Landscape Management Lab works to address research and public education gaps related to environmental horticulture, ornamental production, arboriculture, and urban forestry. Our research is focused primarily on issues relating to urban landscape sustainability, tree risk assessment/storm failure prediction, and factors that influence urban tree growth and longevity. We are stationed at the University of Florida Gulf Coast Research and Education Center and are affiliated with the University of Florida Department of Environmental Horticulture and the University of Florida Center for Landscape Conservation and Ecology.
